    Tickets are available to purchase at the Museum in advance or on the day of your visit. You are advised to arrive at the V&A for when the Museum opens at 10.00 for the best chance of purchasing a ticket. Please note tickets bought on the day may not be for immediate entry to the exhibition, but for later on that day.     The price for a Full Adult ticket is £15.50.


    The V&A is set to honour the mega-star musician David Bowie with an exhibition of his spectacular stage costumes in their forthcoming major spring exhibition 'David Bowie is'. More than 300 objects that will be brought together for the very first time. They include handwritten lyrics, original costumes, fashion, photography, film, music videos, set designs, Bowie’s own instruments and album artwork.

    The show will follow his humble beginnings as a Brixton unknown named David Jones, through the rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust, cover his Berlin years and Pop star comeback in the 1980's, shoulder pads and all.

    Information regarding entry to 'David Bowie is' after 17:45 (5:45pm) for additional evening sessions outside normal museum opening hours (listed on the right):

    - Please enter via the Secretariat Gate/Museum Reception to the right hand side of the museum on Cromwell Road (ALL OTHER ENTRANCES WILL BE UNAVAILABLE) and ensure you have your ticket ready.

    - Please only come at the entry time on your ticket. You will not be admitted before this time. Latecomers will not be admitted.

    - Please note that for additional evening sessions, the exhibition closes at 21:45 (9:45pm) and all visitors MUST have left the museum by 22:00     (10:00pm).

    We suggest approximately 90 minutes viewing time to make the most of your visit inside the exhibition, and some queueing time should be expected. There are a limited number of audio guides that are compulsory for entry into the exhibition and visitors may be required wait for returned audio guides before entering.
