London’s Victoria Palace Theatre is home to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s critically acclaimed musical, HAMILTON – the story of America then, as told by America now.

Inspired by Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton, HAMILTON has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Directed by Thomas Kail, HAMILTON has choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

Alex Sawyer portrays Alexander Hamilton alongside Nathania Ong (Eliza Hamilton), Emily-Mae (Angelica Schuyler) and Simbi Akande (Peggy Schuyler) as the Schuyler sisters.

Jay Perry plays Hamilton’s rival Aaron Burr, with Thomas Vernal in the role of George Washington and Daniel Boys playing King George. Completing the main cast are Jordan Benjamin as John Laurens/Phillip Hamilton, Lemuel Knights as the Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, and Jordan Castle as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison.

One of the most highly acclaimed Broadway musicals, HAMILTON is the winner of 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical. HAMILTON has also received 7 Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

What is Hamilton the musical about?

Hamilton is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies. Hamilton became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped to shape the foundations of America. The score by creator Lin-Manuel Miranda blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway.
