What is Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical about?

Based on factual events about a little known wartime coup, OPERATION MINCEMEAT: A NEW MUSICAL tells the hilarious and improbable true story of the secret mission that may have won World War II. The big question is, how did a well-dressed dead body slip up Hitler?

Commissioned by New Diorama Theatre, co-commissioned by The Lowry. Supported by the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat. Additional support from Avalon.

Cast & Creatives

Alongside David Cumming, Natasha Hodgson and Zoe Roberts, the production also stars Claire-Marie Hall and Jak Malone. It’s directed by Donnacadh O’Briain, with choreography from Jenny Arnold plus set and costume design from Helen Coyston. Composer/lyricist Felix Hagan also takes up Musical Director duties.
