    Following a critically acclaimed sell-out run at the Hampstead Theatre, Amelia Bullmore's Di and Viv and Rose will transfer to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre, starring Tamzin Outhwaite, Samantha Spiro and Jenna Russell.

    Appearing in Breeders at the St James Theatre until 4 October 2014, Tamzin Outhwaite will reprise her role as Di. Perhaps best known as ‘Melanie Owen’ in EastEnders, Outhwaite also appeared on television in New Tricks, Out of Control, Red Cap, Hotel Babylon, and Vital Signs. Her stage credits include Sweet Charity at both the Haymarket and Menier Chocolate Factory.

    Olivier Award winner Samantha Spiro will play Viv. She last appeared on stage in Macebth and The Taming Of The Shrew at Shakespeare’s Globe. Her numerous theatre credits include Filumena (Almeida), Chicken Soup with Barley (Royal Court), Hello Dolly and Much Ado About Nothing (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), Twelfth Night (Donmar), Funny Girl (Chichester Festival), Two Thousand Years (National) and Merrily We Roll Along (Donmar).

    Fellow Olivier Award winner Jenna Russell will play Rose. Appearing in the upcoming musical Urinetown at the Apollo Theatre from 29 September 2014, Russell's theatre credits include Mr. Burns (Almeida), Merrily We Roll Along (Menier & Harold Pinter Theatre), Season’s Greetings (National), Into The Woods (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), Sunday In The Park With George (Menier & in New York), Guys And Dolls (Donmar), as well as As You Like It, Anthony And Cleopatra and The Winter’s Tale for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

    Crackling with wit and wisdom, Di and Viv and Rose is a hilarious and thoughtful exploration of friendship's impact on life and life's impact on friendship. Directed by Anna Mackmin, with designs by Paul Wills, lighting by Mark Henderson and sound by Simon Baker.
