    Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay will join Lindsay Lohan in the upcoming production of Speed-the-Plow at London's Playhouse Theatre from 24 September. Lindsay Posner directs David Mamet's modern classic, a brilliantly satirical portrayal of Hollywood, filled trademark wit and mesmerizing dialogue.

    When a hugely bankable star agrees to appear in a sure-fire commercial hit, film producers Bobby Gould and Charlie Fox are convinced this is the break of a lifetime. That is until Karen (Lindsay Lohan), a temporary secretary, derails the dream. When she persuades Bobby to dump the blockbuster in favour of a story which can only be described as box-office poison, Charlie is forced to resort to desperate measures...

    Best known for his Emmy Award winning role as as White House Communications Director Toby Ziegler on NBC's The West Wing, Richard Schiff will play film producer Bobby Gould. Schiff's career spans stage and screen, including the films Man Of Steel, The Infidel, Made In Dagenham and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Schiff's theatre credits include Underneath The Lintel in London's West End, a recent Broadway run opposite Al Pacino in Glengarry Glen Ross, Eugene O’Neill's Hughie at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. and Parfumerie in Beverly Hills.

    Nigel Lindsay will play film producer Charlie Fox. Currently starring in A Small Family Business at the National Theatre, Lindsay's theatre credits include the RSC’s Richard II opposite David Tennant, The Same Deep Water As Me (Donmar), Shrek The Musical (Theatre Royal Drury Lane) for which he was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical, Under The Blue Sky (Duke of York’s), Guys And Dolls (Piccadilly), The Tempest (Old Vic) as well as extensive work at the National, Donmar, Almeida and Royal Court theatres. He's appeared in various films including Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, Four Lions and Woody Allen’s Scoop, in addition to the TV programmes Foyle’s War, The Fear, George Gently, Spooks, Silent Witness, The Relief Of Belsen, Rome, and many more.
