West End talent takes centre stage in The Night of 1000 Stars

    The full line-up has been revealed for THE NIGHT OF 1000 STARS at the Royal Albert Hall. This star-studded event celebrating the very best in musical theatre will take place on the Spring Bank Holiday Sunday 5 May, to raise funds for Gloria Hunniford's cancer charity The Caron Keating Foundation.

    Hosted by Alan Titchmarsh, stars confirmed to perform are:

    -    Heather Headley and Debbie Kurup (The Bodyguard)
    -    Denise Van Outen (Chicago and Strictly Come Dancing Live)
    -    Tiffany Graves (Chicago)
    -    Katie Rowley-Jones (Wicked)
    -    Alex Bourne (Kiss Me, Kate)
    -    Ian Knauer (Mamma Mia!)
    -    Marcus Lovett, Shona Lindsay and Tabitha Webb (The Phantom of the Opera)
    -    Kristen Beth Williams (Top Hat)

    From the US:
    -    Jason Robert Brown (Parade)
    -    Kenneth Nichols (Show Boat)
    -    Broadway Legend and TV star Len Cariou (Blue Bloods on SKY Atlantic).

    Celebrated violin soloist Diana Yukawa will join the company on-stage, in addition to Denmark's leading man, Christian Lund. The West End Chorus, Stephen Disley (on organ), and The City of London Philharmonic complete the list of performers in what is sure to be a musicals' night to remember.

    The 2013 instalment of THE NIGHT OF 1000 STARS will celebrate music from productions by Harold (Hal) Prince, who directed Evita and The Phantom of the Opera, and produced West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof. It's been confirmed that Heather Headley, who stars as Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard, will sing two Stephen Sondheim numbers from Merrily We Roll Along. Other songs will be included from the following productions:

    -    The Phantom of the Opera
    -    Kiss of the Spiderwoman
    -    A Little Night Music
    -    Sweeney Todd
    -    Follies
    -    Cabaret
    -    Parade
