Comedian Barry Humphries – best known to audiences as his alter ego Dame Edna Everage – will return to the UK with her farewell tour Eat Pray Laugh! Before kicking off in 23 October in Milton Keynes, the Grande Dame will also visit Cardiff and Edinburgh before transferring for a season in the West End.

Humphries will also reprise his other personas including the frequently inebriated Australian cultural attaché Honourable Sir Les Patterson and grandfatherly Sandy Stone.

Dame Edna has appeared on both the West End and Broadway on numerous occasions in the last 50 years, having graced the stage at the Royal Albert Hall, Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, Strand and Piccadilly Theatres, amongst others. Dame Edna has also presented her own UK chat show "The Dame Edna Experience."

The UK tour of Eat Pray Laugh! will be directed by Simon Phillips, the man responsible for the Australian version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies. Stay tuned for further ticketing information and venue details!
