American dramatist and screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan’s breakout drama play, THIS IS OUR YOUTH, first premiered in New York, Off-Broadway in 1996.

THIS IS OUR YOUTH has since appeared on stages all over the world including the West End, Broadway, Sydney and Toronto. The play’s West End home was the Garrick Theatre in which it ran from 2nd March 2002 to 15th March 2003. The all-star opening cast included Jake GyllenhaalHayden Christensen and Anna Paquin.

The story is set on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in March 1982. We follow the narratives of 22 year old Dennis and his 19 year old friend, Warren. Warren has just stolen $15,000 from his business tycoon father and hopes that he can use the money to seduce prep school fashion student, Jessica. The play explores relatable, timeless issues of adolescence and maturity.
