OH, MARY! is performing at the Trafalgar Theatre!
Following their success on Broadway Jinkx Monsoon will be putting on the wig once more and playing Mary Todd Lincoln in the Oliver Award-winning smash hit OH, MARY! at London’s Trafalgar Theatre for a limited 6 week run from 17 August – 26 September.
Don’t miss the comedy legend Catherine Tate playing until 18 July. She will be followed by Cole Escola who returns to reprise their original role for a strictly limited four-week engagement from 20 July.
OH, MARY! is an uproariously dark comedy about a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires abound in this 80-minute one-act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln, through the lens of an idiot.
Declared “one of the best comedies in years” by The New York Times, OH, MARY! received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play (Cole Escola) and Best Direction of a Play (Sam Pinkleton).
