Step inside the magnificent surroundings of The Chamber at London County Hall and experience the intensity and drama of Agatha Christie’s gripping story of justice, passion and betrayal in a unique courtroom setting. The audience are thrillingly placed in the thick of the action, as Agatha Christie’s story of justice, passion and betrayal unfolds around them. The twists and turns of the case are played out in a spectacular courtroom setting, as prosecution battles defence, and witnesses take to the stand to give their shocking testimonies.

Benjamin Westerby (Macbeth, Imitating The Dog – UK Tour) plays the accused, Leonard Vole opposite Katie Buchholz (Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons, West End) as his wife Romaine Vole. Stephen Hogan (Napoli, Brooklyn, Park Theatre) plays Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Paul Ansdell (When the Rain Stops Falling, Old Fire Station Oxford) joins the cast as Mr Mayhew, David Shaw-Parker (My Fair Lady, West End) as Mr Justice Wainwright and John Mackay (The Doctor, West End) as Mr Myers QC.

The company is completed by Melissa Aduke-James, Aamira Challenger, Tom Espiner, Sam Flint, Mackenzie Heynes, Damian Lynch, Matthew Mellalieu, Blair Robertson, Nicola Sanderson, Andrew Tuku JR, Rosamund Williams and William Donaldson.

What is Witness for the Prosecution about?

You have been summoned for jury service. Accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth, will Leonard survive the shocking witness testimony? Will he be able to convince the jury, and you, of his innocence and escape the hangman’s noose?
