Widely considered one of the great classics of modern literature, this adaptation by Oscar Winner Aaron Sorkin puts lawyer Atticus Finch at the centre of the narrative as he is offered the opportunity to defend an African American man falsely accused of a horrendous crime. The residents of the fictional town of Maycomb, Alabama are unimpressed when he takes the case. His daughter Scout watches from the balcony, as her father challenges systemic problems in the American criminal justice system.
