The Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia hosted the premiere of THE WOMAN in December 1936. It went to open later that month in New York City. This was followed up with a 1973 broadway revival in 1973 going on a 63 performance run, before a second revival in November 2001 at the American Airline Theatre which was nominated for 3 awards winning one at the 2022 Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Costume Design.
