The Barber of Seville

Closed

Jonathan Miller’s classic production of THE BARBER OF SEVILLE is a feast of frivolous fun, coming to the London Coliseum for a limited run in February 2024.

Rossini’s comic masterpiece fizzes with memorable melodies in an entertaining production that unites the theatrical worlds of Italian commedia dell’arte and Whitehall farce.

American conductor Roderick Cox makes his ENO debut. ENO favourite Charles Rice plays Figaro while Simon Bailey, one of the most versatile bass-baritones of his generation, sings Dr Bartolo. The cast is rounded out with ENO Harewood Artist Innocent Masuku as Count Almaviva and Irish soprano Anna Devin will be making her ENO debut as Rosina.
