Brace yourselves Sisters! The eagerly anticipated Broadway and UK smash-hit musical SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL is coming back to the Dominion Theatre in London’s West End in 2024!

All your prayers have been answered with a stunning cast, including  multi-award-winning music star and Olivier Award-winning performer Beverley Knight and X Factor winner and international pop icon Alexandra Burke, both portraying the role of disco diva-in-disguise Deloris Van Cartier on different dates through the run*.

Ruth Jones** (star of Gavin and Stacey) will join the Sisterhood as Mother Superior from 15 March – 8 June. Reprising their previous roles are television and stage star Lesley Joseph, Hackney royalty and Olivier Award-winner Clive Rowe***, and rising star Lizzie Bea. Completing the congregation are BRIT Award-winning singer songwriter Lemar****, Britain’s Got Talent and musical theatre star Alison Jiear and beloved star of La Cage aux Folles at Regent’s Park Carl Mullaney.

This sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, sisterhood and music. Featuring a marvellous Motown-inspired score by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken (Disney’s Aladdin, Enchanted), dazzling dance routines and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, this this story of music, mishaps and nuns on the run is a joyous and uplifting tale of finding your voice and singing out, with your sisters by your side is a show you will never forget.

What is Sister Act about?

Now set in the present day, this sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, sisterhood and music tells the hilarious story of the disco diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she won’t be found – a convent! Disguised as a nun and under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.
