Adapted from the Greek classic, OEDIPUS is playing at London’s Wyndham’s Theatre for a limited run until January 2025!
Originally presented in Dutch at the International Theater in Amsterdam, then at the Edinburgh International Festival, Robert Icke‘s adaptation of OEDIPUS will star Mark Strong (The Red Barn) in the title role, alongside Lesley Manville (The Crown) as Jocasta.

When searching for help against a plague destroying his country, Oedipus finds himself drawn further and further into a convoluted prophecy which he has unwittingly fulfilled, in which he unknowingly murdered his own father and married his mother.
