Amy Hodge (Women Beware Women, Globe) directs this production which sees the Globe’s 2022 Resident Writer Hannah Khalil (A Museum in Baghdad) become Shakespeare and Fletcher’s third collaborator.

What is Henry VIII about?

We all know the famous story of King Henry VIII, who changed the rules of his country and religion to try to gain a male heir. But that’s only one side of the story. When a Queen starts fighting for justice, and a Lady pushes for reform, could the future be a Princess instead of a Prince?
