HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is an award-winning rock musical based on the book by John Cameron Mitchell, and with music and lyrics by Stephen Trask.
Originally running for two years as an off-Broadway production in 1998, followed by a US tour and a West End production in 2000, the most famous production ran in 2014 at the Belasco Theatre on Broadway, which won the show several Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical.
After a planned 2015 production in London which never made it to the stage, David Binder (who produced the 2014 Broadway production) has announced plans to bring the show to the West End in 2023!
