Berlin, 1930. A city alive with music, desire and possibility. The party is in full swing – but a shadow is growing at its edges.
Inside the intimate and electrifying Kit Kat Club, Sally Bowles sings to forget. Cliff Bradshaw writes to remember. And the Emcee reminds us that life is beautiful… until it isn’t.
Winning a record-breaking seven Olivier awards, CABARET AT THE KIT KAT CLUB is one of the most successful musicals of all time. The story of a city, a club, and a generation dancing on the edge of history.
Featuring some of the most celebrated songs in musical theatre history – including Willkommen, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time, Money and the title number Cabaret – London’s Playhouse Theatre is transformed into Berlin’s legendary Kit Kat Club for an unforgettable experience that the Daily Telegraph still calls “the best show in London”.
CABARET AT THE KIT KAT CLUB has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Joe Masteroff – based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.

What is Cabaret the Musical about?
It’s 1930s Berlin. It’s 2020s London. It’s Then, it’s Now. Who knows how long it will reside here. For now, we’re enjoying the party. The party at the end of the world.
Set in 1930s Berlin under the Weimar Republic, Cabaret the Musical tells the story of a racy, underground nightclub, the Kit Kat Club. It’s told through the lives of enigmatic Cabaret performers, The Emcee and cabaret singer Sally Bowles.
Before the show, guests are invited to enjoy the club with drinks, dining and pre-show entertainment all on offer. When booking, guests will receive a ‘club entry time’ and, for the richest experience and to immerse themselves fully in the club, we encourage people to arrive early.
