After a limited run at the National Theatre in autumn 2022, fans are hopeful that BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY may return to the West End.

Directed by Lynette Linton, this play by Pearl Cleage has been nominated for three Olivier Awards, including both Best Actor for Giles Terera (Death of England: Face to Face) and Best Supporting Actor for Sule Rimi (Barber Shop Chronicles). As the stage debut of Emmy Award winning actor Samira Wiley, BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY received rave reviews in the press, so it’s possible this production could return to a London stage in the future.
