What is Guys & Dolls about?

Set in New York during the Depression, Guys & Dolls follows the story of big city gamblers and the people who love them. Mission worker Sarah questions her affections for high-roller Sky Masterson when she believes he’s set up illegal gambling at the mission. Adelaide continues her quest to convince Nathan Detroit, runner of a famous floating crap game, to take the plunge and marry her. They gamble with their money, but will they take gambles with love too?
