Robinson Jefferies adaptation of Euripides’, MEDEA is currently playing at  London’s @sohoplace for a limited time from 10th February to 22nd April 2023.

In Greek Mythology, MEDEA was the daughter of King Aeëtes of Colchis and the granddaughter of the sun god Helios. Sophie Okonedo stars as the lead in the role of MEDEA whilst Ben Daniels portrays Jason, Creon and Aegeus in this story focused on how one woman can turn from a lover to a destroyer of love.

What is Medea about?

MEDIA is Robinson Jefferies adaptation of the play of the same name, originally by Euripides the ancient Greek tragedian. In Greek Mythology, MEDEA was the daughter of King Aeëtes of Colchis and the granddaughter of the sun god Helios. The story follows MEDEA as she changes from a lover, into a destroyer of love as she seeks revenge on those who have abandoned her.
