Following a sell-out UK and Ireland tour, Cameron Mackintosh’s reborn production of Miss Saigon returns to the West End and tickets are now on sale. The eagerly awaited revival comes to the Prince Edward Theatre from 13 May 2027.
Tickets are now on sale for Miss Saigon‘s eagerly awaited return to the West End. Marking more than a decade since the mega-musical was last seen in London, this revival brings the story back to the Prince Edward Theatre, where it previously played for its 25th anniversary in 2014.
Set during the final days of the Vietnam War, the musical follows 17-year-old Kim, forced to work in a Saigon bar run by the notorious Engineer, where she meets and falls in love with American GI Chris, only for the pair to be torn apart by the fall of Saigon. Over the following three years, Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he has fathered a son.
Featuring music by Claude-Michel Schönberg and lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. and Alain Boublil, the score includes songs like ‘The Heat Is On in Saigon,’ ‘The Movie in My Mind,’ ‘Last Night of the World’ and ‘The American Dream.’ The production also reunites producer Cameron Mackintosh with director Jean-Pierre van der Spuy, in association with Michael Harrison, following a sell-out UK and Ireland tour in 2026.
Full casting for the West End production will be announced at a later date.
