Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, the world’s longest-running play, has announced an extension at St Martin’s Theatre, bringing the production firmly into its 75th year. Producers have announced the show is now booking through 18 July 2027.
It’s been announced today that Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, has extended until July 2027, as it approaches its 75th anniversary. The production first opened at the St Martin’s Theatre in the West End on 25 November 1952, where it’s been ever since and recently celebrated 30,000 West End performances.
The current cast is currently slated to star in the production until 7 November, with a new cast expected to take over. The production has already announced a UK Tour to take place during its 75th anniversary year.
