'A classic tale, thrillingly re-told for the stage' GREAT EXPECTATIONS chronicles the life of an orphan named Pip following his encounter with the escaped convict Abel Magwitch.
As part of the international Charles Dickens bicentenary celebrations, GREAT EXPECTATIONS comes to the West End’s Vaudeville Theatre for the first time in February 2013.
The popular novel has been repeatedly adapted since its publication 150 years – the most recent film version starring Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes – but has never been presented as a full length play in London's West End or on Broadway.
Adapted by Jo Clifford and directed by Graham McLaren, GREAT EXPECTATIONS arrives on the West End having toured the UK in Autumn 2012 to critical acclaim. Book your tickets to see GREAT EXPECTATIONS today!
