Full cast announced for Grandage's Henry V starring Jude Law

    The full cast has been announced for HENRY V, the finale of the star-studded Michael Grandage season at the Noel Coward. Amongst those joining Jude Law in the title role are Norman Bowman, Michael Hadley, Jessie Buckley and Prasanna Puwanarajah.

    Norman Bowman will play Nym/Williams. His theatre credits include Mamma Mia!, Parade, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Les Misérables. Bowman previously worked with Michael Grandage in three Donmar West End productions; Guys and Dolls opposite Ewan McGregor, Twelfth Night alongside Derek Jacobi, and a later production of Guys and Dolls with Patrick Swayze. He was most recently seen in Macbeth at the 2013 Manchester International Festival opposite Kenneth Branagh and Alex Kingston.

    Michael Hadley will play Canterbury. His stage credits include King Lear, Piaf, Othello, The Tempest, Heroes, Coriolanus and The Canterbury Tales (Royal Shakespeare Company). TV and film credits include Fair Cop, Mrs Biggs, The Invisible Woman and The Boat That Rocked.

    Jessie Buckley will play Princess Katharine. She first came to prominence as runner-up on Andrew Lloyd Webber's reality show I'd Do Anything. Her stage credits include The Tempest at Shakespeare's Globe and A Little Night Music at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

    Prasanna Puwanarajah, who will play Mountjoy, has theatre credits including Sixty Six Books (Bush), Emperor and Galilean, Hamlet, London Assurance (National) and Twelfth Night (RSC). For television, his work includes Silk and The Sarah Jane Adventures.

    Completing the cast are Harry Attwell (Grey/Gower), Jason Baughan (Bardolph/Bates M. Le Fer), Richard Clifford (Ely/King Charles VI), Ron Cook (Pistol), Ian Drysdale (Cambridge/Constable), Noma Dumezweni (Mistress Quickly/Alice), Edward Harrison (Westmoreland), Christopher Heyward (Macmorris/Orleans), James Laurenson (Exeter), Ben Lloyd-Hughes (Dauphin/Scroop), Matt Ryan (Fluellen) and Ashley Zhangazha (Chorus/Boy).

    The HENRY V, the finale of the star-studded Michael Grandage season has featured Privates On Parade starring Simon Russell Beale; Peter And Alice with Dame Judi Dench and Ben Whishaw; The Cripple of Inishmaan starring Daniel Radcliffe; and is  currently showing A Midsummer Night's Dream with Sheridan Smith and David Walliams until Saturday 16 November 2013.
