    The smash-hit Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen is set to transfer to London’s Noël Coward Theatre in November 2019. Tickets available soon.

    From the writers of La La Land and The Greatest ShowmanDear Evan Hansen is the hit Broadway musical about a teenage boy who suffers from social anxiety, and finds it difficult to talk to people and make friends. However, following a tragic event involving one of his classmates, he finds himself drawn closer a group of people for the first time in his life.

    Dear Evan Hansen will run in London at the Noël Coward Theatre in the West End from November 2019. Further details announced soon.

    Dear Evan Hansen opened on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre in 2016, and was an instant hit, loved for its story, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s score, and the leading performance of Ben Platt in the title role. The musical picked up 6 Tony Awards in 2017 including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score, which includes Waving Through a Window, Anybody Have a Map? and You Will Be Found.

    Producers of the musical have previously strongly hinted that the musical would transfer to London in the future, and are looking for a British actor to lead the cast. Stacey Mindich has said that they would also use colour-blind casting for the West End production.
