Ruby Thomas (The Animal Kingdom, Either) brings her epic and playful modern love story LINCK & MÜLHAHN to the Hampstead Theatre for its world premiere!

Inspired by eighteenth century court records and the extraordinary true lives of this gender pioneering couple, this new play is directed by Owen Horsley (Rebellion and Wars of the Roses, Maydays, Salomé) with Maggie Bain (Man to Man, Henry V) playing Anastasius Linck and Helena Wilson (Jack Absolute Flies Again, The Lady from the Sea) playing the role of Catharina Mülhahn. They are also joined by Lucy Black, Daniel Abbott, David CarrMarty CruickshankKammy DarweishQasim MahmoodLeigh Quinn and Timothy Speyer playing multiple roles.

What is Linck & Mülhahn about?

Dashing soldier Anastasius Linck has no intention of falling in love, but a chance encounter with the rebellious Catharina Mülhahn changes everything. As they begin to forge a relationship that breaks boundaries and rejects the rigid rules of their society, they find themselves confronted by a world determined to tear them apart.
