COCK arrives in London in spring 2022 with a star studded cast.

Taron Egerton (Rocketman), Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton), Jade Anouka (His Dark Materials) and Phil Daniels (Quadrophenia) star in Mike Bartlett’s COCK at London’s Ambassadors Theatre, directed by Marianne Elliot.

“The fact is that some of us like women and some like men and that’s fine that’s good in fact that’s good, a good thing, but it seems to me that you’ve become confused.”

What is Cock about?

John (Bailey) is gay. He has been in a relationship with M (Egerton) for 7 years. They share everything – their home, their day to day life. The couple decide to take a break and that’s when everything changes for John. He meets W (Anouka) on his commute – a woman to whom he is deeply attracted. She feels the same and they sleep together.

John finds himself torn between his long-term boyfriend and his female lover.

In a world full of endless possibilities why must we still limit ourselves with labels?

Mike Bartlett’s (Chariots of Fire, Doctor Foster) razor sharp play about love and identity, redefines the battle of the sexes as we know it.
