Rehearsals are in full swing for the West End production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I starring Tony Award-winner Kelli O’Hara, Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe.

The cast also includes Ruthie Ann Miles, reprising her Tony Award-winning performance as Lady Thiang, major Japanese film and television star Takao Osawa, as the trusted adviser to The King of Siam, Dean John-Wilson (Aladdin) and Na-Young Jeon as the young lovers, Lun Tha and Tuptim.

Set in 1860s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children.

With a superior score of treasured songs including; Whistle a Happy Tune, Getting to Know You and Shall We Dance, and with a company of over 50 world-class performers, The King and I is a testament to the lavish heritage of gloriously romantic musical theatre.

Don't miss your chance to see the greatest musical from the golden age of theatre on the London stage. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
