New cast announced for The Ferryman

    New casting has just been announced for The Ferryman as Jez Butterworth's critically-acclaimed hit play extends for the third time.

    Directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes, the play premiered at the Royal Court, becoming the fastest-selling show in the theatre’s history.

    The new cast includes Rosalie Craig (As You Like It, The Threepenny Opera, London Road) in the role of Caitlin Carney, Owen McDonnell (Single-Handed, Paula) as Quinn Carney and Justin Edwards (The Thick of It, The Death Of Stalin) as Tom Kettle.

    Also joining the company are Stella McCusker as Aunt Maggie Far Away, Siân Thomas as Aunt Pat, Declan Conlon as Muldoon, Dean Ashton as Frank Magennis, Terence Keeley as Diarmaid Corcoran, Sean Delaney as Michael Carney, Francis Mezza as Shane Corcoran, Kevin Creedon as JJ Carney, Laurie Kynaston as Oisin Carney and Saoirse-Monica Jackson as Shena Carney.

    Catherine McCormack remains in the role of Mary Carney, as will Charles Dale as Father Horrigan, Mark Lambert as Uncle Pat and Glenn Speers as Lawrence Malone.

    The Ferryman is currently booking at the Gielgud Theatre until 19 May 2018, with the new company giving its first performance on 8th January 2018. Book your tickets today!
