Bartlett Sher's Tony Award-winning production The King and I transfers the West End in June 2018.

Starring its original Broadway stars, Tony Award winner Kelli O’Hara in her West End debut and Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe, the production features a company of over 50 world-class performers.

Fresh from his critical smash hit production of Oslo, director Bartlett Sher reunites the original creative team: costume designer Catherine Zuber, set designer Michael Yeargan, lighting designer Donald Holder, sound designer Scott Lehrer and choreography by Christopher Gattelli.

Nominated for nine Tony Awards, the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic won a grand total of four including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Leading Actress (Kelli O'Hara) and best costume design (Catherine Zuber).

Featuring a classic score including Whistle a Happy Tune, Getting to Know You, and Shall We Dance, The King and I is a testament to the lavish heritage of gloriously romantic musical theatre.
