Just days ahead of Labour of Love’s first preview on Wednesday 27 September, Martin Freeman, Tamsin Greig and the rest of the cast are in final rehearsals.

Labour MP David Lyons cares about modernisation and "electability"... his constituency agent, Jean Whittaker cares about principles and her community. Set away from the Westminster bubble in the party's traditional northern heartlands, this is a clash of philosophy, culture and class against the backdrop of the Labour Party over 25 years as it moves from Kinnock through Blair into Corbyn... and beyond?

This razor-sharp political comedy reunites James Graham and director Jeremy Herrin (People, Places and Things, The Nether, Wolf Hall & Bring Up the Bodies) following their previous collaboration on This House, and premieres at the Noël Coward Theatre for 11 weeks only.

The cast also includes Rachael Stirling (The Winter's Tale, An Ideal Husband), Kwong Loke (You For Me For You), Dickon Tyrrell (Anatomy of a Suicide, Harvest) and Susan Wokoma (A Raisin in the Sun, Julius Caesar).
