    The entire original company of the Chichester Festival Theatre's THE RESISTIBLE RISE OF ARTURO UI will reprise their roles alongside Henry Goodman in the West End. The critically acclaimed production, directed by Jonathan Church, begins previews at the Duchess Theatre from 18 September.

    Olivier Award winner Goodman takes the lead in Bertolt Brecht's witty and thrilling take on the rise of Adolf Hitler, joined by previously announced cast members Keith Baxter (The Actor), Michael Feast (Roma), William Gaunt (Old Dogsborough) and Joe McGann (Giri/ O’Casey/ Ensemble).

    The ensemble company transferring to the London stage comprises of Mark Carlisle (Bowl/ Ensemble/ Musician), Alex Giannini (Butcher/ Defence/ Ensemble), Amanda Gordon (Dockdaisy/ Esemble/ Musician), Charlie Hamblett (Young Inna/ Ensemble), Lucas Hare (Ensemble), Hugh John (Young Dogsborough/ Ensemble), Richard Mark (Ensemble), Lizzy McInnerny (Betty Dullfoot/ Woman/ Ensemble), Peter Moreton (Sheet/ Fish/Ensemble/ Musician), Steve Simmonds (Musician/ Ensemble),Colin Stinton (MC/ Ragg/ Dullfeet), David Sturzaker (Giviola/ Ensemble) and Benny Young (Clark/ Prosecution/ Ensemble).

    Set during the 1930s Great Depression, THE RESISTIBLE RISE OF ARTURO UI follows Chicago gangster Arturo Ui (Goodman) as he seizes power over workers and businesses in the city.
