National Theatre at Home

Our iconic National Theatre brought us some stellar productions to stream at home during lockdown 2020. We hope you managed to catch some of the amazing productions streamed. For 2021 the joy continues – for a subscription or rental fee, you can see some amazing past productions from the comfort of your sofa. You can choose an annual subscription, a monthly one (which can be gifted as well for anything between 1 and 12 months) or a one off rental that lasts 6 days.

The most recent addition to this is the critically celebrated Angels In America. Set during the AIDS crisis and conservative political administration of the mid-1980’s, Angels In America tells the story of six New Yorkers dealing with life, death, love, sex, heaven & hell.

Here are some more great titles you can check out:

Dick Whittington – Fancy getting that festive feeling back? You only have until 22nd February to check out this wonderful pantomime.

Yerma by Lorca – Billie Piper stars as a woman driven to despair by her desperation to have a child.

I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klasson – A magical retelling of the much loved children’s book

Medea by Ben Power – Helen McCrory plays the title role in Euripides powerful tragedy.

Julie by August Strindberg – Vanessa Kirby stars in Polly Stenham’s brand new and very relevant version of Miss Julie.

All this and much, much more. National Theatre At Home is sure to give you a hit of Doctor Theatre while you can’t be there in person.
