    From the classic era defining sounds of The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Dusty Springfield... stadium filling giants like The Who and Queen... the irresistible anarchy of bands like The Specials and the Sex Pistols... right up to recent crowd-pleasers such as Spice Girls, Oasis, Coldplay, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and much, much, more.

    Britain's museum of popular music, the BRITISH MUSIC EXPERIENCE offers visitors the chance to:

    * See, the most amazing collection of British music memorabilia.
    * Play, the finest guitars, drums and keyboards in the Gibson Interactive room.
    * Record, your own music demo or dance video.
    * Experience, every moment that made British Music History.

    Using cutting edge audio-visual technology, visitors can trace historic and era defining moments through 60 years of music history, learn about British music's influence on popular culture, feel the thrill of being in the crowd at legendary gigs, flick through virtual record collections, understand what makes a pop star and search across a giant interactive map of Britain's music heritage.

    Iconic pieces of British music memorabilia featured include David Bowie's Ashes to Ashes clown suit and Ziggy Stardust costume, Noel Gallagher's Union Jack guitar, Roger Daltrey's Woodstock outfit and a vintage Amy Winehouse dress.

    The BRITISH MUSIC EXPERIENCE is the only exhibition where visitors can select their favourite content and media recordings to keep and create their one off souvenir ticket, with SmartTicket technology.

    The BRITISH MUSIC EXPERIENCE is open for entry Monday to Sunday from 11am to 7.30pm (Last entry is at 6.30pm)




    Getting To O2 Arena Via Public Transport:



    Via Underground Train or DLR


    Catch the Jubilee Line Underground Train to North Greenwich for The O2 (Zone 2).
    Alternatively, you could travel on the DLR to Canary Wharf or Canning Town, and then take one stop on the Jubilee Line via the Underground Train.

    Via KPMG Thames Clippers river bus services


    Thames Clippers operates The O2 Express on arena event nights at The O2. The express service from Waterloo Pier direct to The O2 is the perfect way to complete your night out at the world's most popular music venue. Travel on the high speed luxury catamarans direct to North Greenwich pier (The O2) in under 30 minutes! Departures every 30 mins from Waterloo pier 3 hours prior to an arena event start time. After the event, the first departure from North Greenwich pier is 15 mins after the event finishes.

    Via Bus


    Eight TFL bus routes operate to and from The O2 including three 24 hour bus services. Key destinations include Stratford, Charlton, Greenwich, Lewisham, Woolwich, Eltham and Central London..
