Helen Hobson to return as Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia! from 24 September 2012.
Actress Helen Hobson will make a return to the London stage in the hit musical Mamma Mia! to reprise the role of Donna Sheridan which she last performed between 2004-2007. She will take up the leading role from 24 September 2012, after Mamma Mia! has settled into a new home at the Novello Theatre.
Helen has also starred opposite Michael Ball in Stephen Sondheim’s Passion, and with Cliff Richard in Heathcliff The Musical, and has appeared in other West End productions including Blood Brothers (as Mrs Johnstone) and Aspects Of Love.
Sally Ann Triplett (the actress behind Donna Sheridan in 2011-2012), stars from November 2012 in the new musical Viva Forever! – also from Mamma Mia! producer Judy Craymer. Sally Ann will play the role of Viva’s mother, Laura.
