    Agatha Christie's THE MOUSETRAP has kept audiences guessing for over six decades. Having entered its 65nd incredible year in November 2016, this world record breaking production continues to attract audiences to the St. Martin's Theatre from every corner of the globe. In her own inimitable style, Dame Agatha Christie has created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every corner.

    THE MOUSETRAP first entered the record books many years ago on 12th April 1958 when it became the longest running show of any kind in the history of British Theatre.

    The scene is set when a group of people are gathered at a country guest house in the converted Monkswell Manor. Cut off by the snow, they discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be?

    One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerve-shredding moment the identity and the motive are finally revealed...

    During the phenomenal run there have been no fewer than 382 actors and actresses appearing in the play, 116 miles of shirts have been ironed and over 415 tons of ice cream sold. Some cast members are in the Guinness Book of Records - David Raven as the 'Most Durable Actor' for 4,575 performances as 'Major Metcalf' and the late Nancy Seabrooke for a record breaking 15 years as an understudy. And for the last 39 years, St Martin's Theatre has been the home of THE MOUSETRAP (since it transferred in 1973) - that's more than half of its record breaking run!

    We recommend you call your chosen restaurant to check availability before arriving to avoid disappointment.  Please quote "LOVEtheatre Restaurant Voucher" when reserving your table.  You can pick up your theatre and meal vouchers from the theatre box office anytime after 4pm for an evening performance and after 1pm for a matinee (afternoon) performance on the day of the show. 

    Your tickets are held under the surname of your booking.  When collecting from the theatre box office please quote "LOVEtheatre" and your surname.

    Please ensure that you present your meal vouchers on arrival at the restaurant. Failure to do so could result in you paying again. You will be responsible for any extra charges for food or beverages purchased. Vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded.

    Restaurants have limited availability during December, so please ensure you reserve your table in advance to avoid disappointment. LOVEtheatre Restaurant Vouchers are valid for 2 months, so you may choose to dine another time after your selected event.
