Isla Blair joins the full cast of Made in Dagenham musical

    Isla Blair will join Gemma Arterton in the cast of new musical MADE IN DAGENHAM at the Adelphi Theatre this autumn. She will play 'Connie' when previews begin on 9 October.

    Stage and screen actress Blair has appeared in the TV programmes Grantchester, Single Father, Law and Order, Midsomer Murders, A Touch of Frost, Inspector Morse as well as New Tricks, Casualty, The Quatermass Experiment,The House of Cards and The History Man, all for the BBC. Her film credits include Johnny English Reborn, Mrs Caldicot’s Cabbage War and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

    On stage Blair was most recently seen in The Lyons at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Her theatre credits include Collaboration (Chichester and Duchess Theatre), The History Boys (Wyndham’s Theatre), Noises Off (Piccadilly), and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,
    Stuff Happens and What the Butler Saw (National Theatre).

    Starring Arterton as Rita O'Grady, the rest of the cast includes Adrian der Gregorian (Eddie O'Grady), David Cardy (Monty), Heather Craney (Clare), Sophie-Louise Dann (Barbara Castle), Julius D'Silva (Hopkins), Naomi Frederick (Lisa Hopkins), Steve Furst (Tooley), Mark Hadfield (Harold Wilson), Sophie Isaacs (Sandra) and Sophie Stanton (Beryl).
