Full Cast announced for Grandage's Midsummer Night's Dream

    The full cast has been announced for A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, starring Olivier Award winner Sheridan Smith as Titania, and David Walliams as Bottom. Joining the fourth production of the Michael Grandage season at the West End's Noel Coward Theatre are Susannah Fielding, Katherine Kingsley, Stefano Braschi, Sam Swainsbury, Pádraic Delaney and Gavin Fowler.

    Susannah Fielding will play Hermia. Her extensive theatre credits include Trelawny of the Wells (Donmar Warehouse), The Merchant of Venice (Royal Shakespeare Company), An Enemy of the People (Sheffield Crucible), and the National Theatre productions of Much Ado About Nothing, Philistines, The Rose Tattoo and The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other. She also appeared in the 2012 West End run of Zach Braff's All New People. Her screen credits include TV's Wallander and Doctor Who, as well as The Knot and The Job Lot.

    Katherine Kingsley will play Helena. A two-time Olivier nominee, Kingsley's West End theatre credits include the recent production of Singin' in the Rain at the Palace Theatre, as well as Piaf (Donmar Warehouse and Vaudeville Theatre), Aspects of Love (Menier Chocolate Factory), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Donmar) and High Society (Shaftesbury Theatre). Her television credits include The Bill and Hollyoaks.

    Stefano Braschi will play Demetrius. He most recently appeared in the second production of the Grandage season, Peter and Alice, with Dame Judi Dench and Ben Whishaw. Braschi also worked with Grandage in the Donmar Warehouse productions of Richard II and King Lear, and in Danton's Death at the National.

    Sam Swainsbury will play Lysander. Swainsbury appeared in the first production of the Grandage season at the Noel Coward Theatre, Privates on Parade, with Simon Russell Beale. He's previously appeared on stage in The Taming of the Shrew (RSC) and When Did You Last See My Mother? (Trafalgar Studios), and on screen in Doctors (BBC) and Harley Street (ITV).

    Pádraic Delaney will play Oberon/Theseus, after completing his current run in Grandage's funny and touching The Cripple of Inishmaan alongside Daniel Radcliffe. Delaney is best known for his role in Ken Loach's Palm d'Or award winning film, The Wind That Shakes the Barley.

    Gavin Fowler will play Puck. His theatre credits include The Winter's Tale and The Taming of the Shrew (RSC), and The Syndicate alongside Ian McKellan (Chichester Festival Theatre).

    Completing the A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM cast is Stefan Adegbola (Robin Starveling/Cobweb), Richard Dempsey (Peter Quince/Moth), Henry Everett (Tom Snout/Peaseblossom), Alex Large (Francis Flute/Mustardseed), Craig Vye (Snug the Joiner/First Fairy) and Leo Wringer (Egeus).
