Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs is the most anticipated exhibition in London history.

Since the discovery of his tomb in 1922, Tutankhamun has captured the hearts of people around the world. Buried with him were the most magnificent treasures of the Golden Age of the Pharaohs, giving us a glittering glimpse into the past. In the 1970s the unprecedented King Tut exhibition was seen by over 1.8 million people when it visited London making it the most successful exhibition in the capital's history.

The extensive exhibition has returned to London, the only European city to host the treasures, with more than 130 artefacts from the tomb including Tutankhamun's royal diadem - the gold crown discovered encircling the head of the King's mummified body that he likely wore while living - and one of the gold and precious stone inlaid coffinettes.
