    With over 3,000 images, 600 video clips, 3,000 artist videos and over 600 items of artist and music memorabilia, the British Music Experience is a must see for any music fan.

    From the classic era defining sounds of The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Dusty Springfield... stadium filling giants like The Who and Queen... the irresistible anarchy of bands like The Specials and the Sex Pistols... right up to recent crowd-pleasers such as Spice Girls, Oasis, Coldplay, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and much, much, more.

    Britain's museum of popular music, the British Music Experience offers visitors the chance to:

    Using cutting edge audio-visual technology, visitors can trace historic and era defining moments through 60 years of music history, learn about British music's influence on popular culture, feel the thrill of being in the crowd at legendary gigs, flick through virtual record collections, understand what makes a pop star and search across a giant interactive map of Britain's music heritage.

    Iconic pieces of British music memorabilia featured include David Bowie's Ashes to Ashes clown suit and Ziggy Stardust costume, Noel Gallagher's Union Jack guitar, Roger Daltrey's Woodstock outfit and a vintage Amy Winehouse dress.

    The British Music Experience is the only exhibition where visitors can select their favourite content and media recordings to keep and create their one off souvenir ticket, with SmartTicket technology.

    The British Music Experience is open for entry Monday to Sunday from 11am to 7.30pm (Last entry is at 6.30pm)
