    F. Murray Abraham stars in The Mentor at the Vaudeville Theatre this summer, after a hit run at the Theatre Royal Bath.

Benjamin Rubin is a bad-tempered old writer, whiskey aficionado and pedant, still basking in the reflected gloy of long-ago success. Martin Wegner is a rising young literary star, heralded as 'the voice of his generation'. When Martin is given the opportunity to develop his new play under the mentorship of his idol, the two writers meet and two massive egos are set on a collision course...

In a translation by Christopher Hampton, this production is directed by the Olivier Award-winning Laurence Boswell, whose recent productions include A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Trouble in Mind, The Mother, Intimate Apparel.

The cast features Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus), Daniel Weyman (Nicholas Nickelby, King Lear), Naomi Frederick (Hobson's Choice) and Jonathan Cullen (Trouble in Mind, Love the Sinner).

At the Vaudeville Theatre from 24 June to 2 September 2017, book The Mentor tickets today!
